A team from the University of Sheffield including FEMM Hub Director Geraint Jewell has been awarded funding as a partner in an Aerospace Technology Institute supported project ‘REINSTATE’ which is led by Rolls-Royce. Geraint will lead the Sheffield contribution on electrical machine repair technology and colleagues from the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering will lead the Sheffield contribution on engine sensors.
